How To Find FREE Royalty-Free Images for Commercial Use

Whether you need images for your website, articles, graphic design work, or even a school project; here you will learn about the amazing sites that offer Royalty Free images available for Commercial Use—completely FREE!

When you are designing graphics for businesses, organizations, an e-book, or even your own personal blog; you have to be cautious about what images you use.  Using certain images found online without express permission from the person whom the image originated from can put you in some very hot water.

It is critical that you understand the various copyright laws and the various levels of what is known as the Creative Commons license.  To understand more on what Creative Commons is and the various types of CC licenses, please visit creativecommons.org.

For this post, I'm going to do what I always do; get straight to the meat of things.  Here I will share a few sites that offer Royalty Free Images FREE for Commercial use under the CC0 license—which means, you are completely free to use and manipulate totally free of cost without the need of attributing the original work to the individual.  A word of caution, it is highly inadvisable to use any CC0 image on products that you plan to mass sell (i.e. t-shirts, mugs, posters, stickers, etc).  If that is your main objective, I advise you to do some heavy researching and studying into the subject of copyright laws—for this, you could begin at copyright.gov.  You also may consider actually purchasing an image from IStock or Getty Images—be sure to read the fine print to be sure that you are following the rules when using that image (even though you are purchasing it).

So, with all of that said; let's go!
